Tips for Accurate Tracking
- Measure at consistent times—ideally morning and evening, at the same times each day
- Rest for 5 minutes before taking a reading
- Avoid caffeine, exercise, and smoking for 30 minutes before measuring
- Use the same arm for all measurements (typically the arm with higher readings)
- Take 2-3 readings one minute apart and record the average
- Sit correctly—back supported, feet flat on floor, arm at heart level
